First Visit in South Sudan

After visiting my village in South Sudan first time in 24 years landscape was look different and see children struggling with their study in that moment, I decided to help through teaching for free buy school material and supply.

The 6-foot-8-inch-tall gardener was responsible for designing the pumpkin village, which was featured in the October issue of Southern Living in 2011.
Working full time while earning multiple diplomas, two Business degree bachelor in Project management, and Global leadership.
Gieu takes on any task, from operating heavy machinery to teaching other gardeners or volunteers.
In December 2013 he won Dallas Arboretum spirit of the year.

Reng is a public speaker. Today, he supports children in his native country through his hard work and dictation.
His struggles in early life have led him to become a passionate public speaker and volunteer to help other refugees who are struggle.
Today, Reng is working with Sound Transit in Seattle, Washington, performing both safety community service and customer care. A job that is close to the heart and makes an impact on other lives.

Unspeakable is the story of young boy who survive Sudanese Civil war and its Calamities such as Starvation, violence, wild animals, sickness, thirst, and diseases. Some of my experiences you will read about include my life before and during the years that civil war devastated my village, and how hard it was being on my own at a young age. It reveals how God’s invisible plans can accomplish great things in our lives, which we only realize in hindsight. It is also about the providence of God in my rescue and resettlement in the United States of America in 2001. I want to share my story to provide hope for other young people caught in desperate circumstances.
